Alex Kresovich in… Gold N’ Fly: 007 is a music experience like none other. Inspired by the work of Team Teamwork, producer Alex Kresovich pays homage to a video game that captivated a generation and interlaces its score with some of rap’s most popular artists.

Gold N’ Fly: 007 masterfully manipulates the music from the classic Nintendo 64 title Goldeneye: 007 to create a work of art that is both nostalgic and contemporary. Alex puts an innovative twist on the brilliant compositions of Graeme Norgate and Grant Kirkhope, repurposing their soundtrack for remixes of popular songs by the likes of Jay-Z, Nas, 50 Cent, Rick Ross, Lil’ Wayne, Drake and Eminem. The result is a generous serving of high-quality hip-hop, as well as a veritable trip down memory lane. This release is for anyone who remembers the thrill of flicking their Nintendo 64’s power switch and jumping into the world of James Bond with their closest friends.

Though the compositions originated in a video game soundtrack, the music of Gold N' Fly is an entirely new compilation that will offer any fan of music – even those unfamiliar with the game – an enjoyable listen. Listeners might just find themselves drawn to songs, artists, and sounds they never imagined they'd find themselves enjoying. Alex Kresovich in… Gold N’ Fly: 007 is just the latest example of this talented producer's ability to craft instantly listenable music that is both contemporary and timeless.

Bio:
Alex Kresovich (born in Harlingen, Texas on August 28, 1986), is an American hip-hop music producer from Ithaca, NY. Alex has produced songs for Grammy nominee Remy Ma and underground acts across the nation including S-Caliber (Harlem, NY), Kwame Darko (Bethesda, Maryland), PHZ-Sicks (Woodbridge, VA), and Blaze Rock (Phoenix, AZ).

Alex never stops studying music. Since he was just 6 years old - and to this day - Alex listens to music for hours alone on a daily basis. He has always maintained this musical passion. In his pre-teen years in Peachtree City, Georgia, Alex aspired to be a singer and participated in numerous selective choirs and was trained classically on piano for four years. Dreams shifted in his earliest teen years as he hoped to become a rock star and was trained on the drum set for two years. However, once his family moved to New York, all of his friends listened to rap rather than rock. Just as his surroundings had changed, so did Alex. He became obsessed with rap; throughout high school he wrote his own raps and even release an album entitled 'I Wouldn’t Buy Thi$' his senior year at Ithaca High School in 2004.

This infatuation continued into college, but on the other side of the mixing boards. Alex began producing rap songs (making beats) during his freshman - and only - year at the University of Georgia. With all the time he spent listening and studying music, he had the natural 'ear' for it; the school year culminated with his release of 'The Dual Threat Mixtape' in the spring of 2005. Though Alex had yet to shake an amateur sound in his work, he certainly had taken a step in the right direction.

Over the next few years, Alex has honed his production skills and became quite reputable in his field. Though his original style consisted of only sampling, Alex feared that he would be pigeonholed as an ‘East Coast’ producer and spent his time studying other styles of production. Diversification into every genre of rap (e.g. West Coast, Dirty South, etc.) has been Alex’s main goal in his productions though his style commonly resembles the ‘East Coast’ genre.

Having transferred to Cornell University, Alex had the opportunity to intern with the Island Def Jam Music Group. His time with the label provided inspiration and showed his dreams are not as far away as once thought. While with Island Def Jam, Alex was able to go to the recording studio with rap legend Jay-Z and also had the unforgettable experience of dancing with pop superstar Rihanna at label executive LA Reid’s 50th birthday party. His time there culminated with two auditions with A&R magnate Lenny S.; Lenny remarked that he was impressed by his potential and told him to keep him updated on his development.

After spending those two summers with the Island Def Jam Music Group, Alex embarked on his largest project to date entitled 'The Crowned Prince' which was released on October 19, 2007, the fall of his senior year at Cornell University. The first single, "Hey Hollywood" received national radio play and was put on the in-store music CDs for American Eagle and Hollister clothing stores. Alex took all the proceeds from the album ($1000+) and donated them to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

In 2009, Alex Kresovich was enlisted to produce "The Most Feared Woman In NY" by Grammy nominee Remy Ma, her exclusive phone recording while serving time at Rikers Island. The song debuted nationally on Shade 45 on Sirius Satellite Radio.

In 2010, Alex produced the title track for Kwame Darko's 'Tangerine Tinted Sunglasses' mixtape released on January 30. Most recently, rapper Freaky Jon P reached out to Alex to produce his song "Mister Mirror" which will have a music video debuting in the late Spring.

Alex maintains that the key to improving his musical talent are his good study habits, which he cultivated at Cornell University. No matter the quality of his music, he’s never satisfied — not while there’s so much to learn out there from other musicians. Whether he’s studying legendary producers (Dr. Dre, Timbaland, Just Blaze, DJ Premier, etc.) or his up-and-coming peers, Alex is always looking for new inspiration that will help him enhance his musical capabilities. The "learning process," as he calls it, is never over — and this is something he embraces.
